Nature vs. Society
My essay's topic is Nature vs. Society. I will be talking about the significance of the sunshine, the roses, why she lets her hair down, the "devils playground" and how nature loves Pearl (the wolf). Heaster feels more confertable and free while in nature, Pearl is more accepted, ETC.

you can also add about how nature doesn't judge a person and how society does not accept everybody.
ReplyDeleteoooo, I like that! thanks Jackie
ReplyDeleteya I was about to say exactly what jackie just said but anyways.
ReplyDeleteYa add how our soceity has laws and whats right and wrong, who's evil and good and how nature doesn't have any of that, and if soceity should have this order of law (and right and wrong) or not.

ReplyDeleteWhoever you are, Mollisk (Molly? let me know so that I can give you at least partial credit for this far too brief post). Why don't you write more? You've got a good approach to the novel in zeroing in on its symbolism, but you might have spent some time exploring your ideas here, in this informal forum, so that I and others might have offered helpful suggestions.
ReplyDeleteYes, tis Molly, i can change my name to make it easyer, I just feel like i had one of those short intention-span days so therefore didnt wright as much as I could. I could easily go into great detail on each example, but I felt if I did that, then it would end up just being my essay.
